Yes, that would be me with the crown, cape, and wand in hand! Cole's kindergarten class has this tradition for the birthday child that the parent comes to read to the class, makes a grand entry, walks down the red carpet after being dressed with a cape, crown and wand by the kids, and then reads a story before cupcakes are passed out! It is really cute and the kids are so into it. It is more embarrassing for the parent than the birthday child! I had to post this because Jon and Taylar couldn't believe I was going to do it, I said, "it's kindergarten, they have great imaginations and don't judge you, they think you're cool if you participate and it's fun!"
